This notice says what we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it. It is short because we collect little — and we collect little on purpose.

01What we collect

Account information you give us: your name, e-mail address and, optionally, your organisation. Where you sign in through Ventureship single sign-on, we receive an identifier, your e-mail address and your name from Ventureship.

Mandate information you author: objectives, limits and the record of what was done under them.

Operational information we generate: sign-in events, privileged actions, and security-relevant activity. This is what makes the record complete.

02Why we collect it

To hold your mandate, to enforce your limits, to keep your record accurate, to secure your account, and to answer you when you write to us. That is the whole list.

03What we never do

Some uses are common in this industry and are simply not available here, at any price and under any arrangement.

  • We do not sell or broker your data.
  • We do not use your record to train anything on anyone else's behalf.
  • We do not add contact-form enquiries to a marketing list.
  • We do not disclose client identities, in any context.

04Who can see it

Within Ventureship, access to client data is scoped to what an operational task requires, is logged, and appears in your record. There is no unlogged administrative view.

Outside Ventureship, we share data only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the platform, and only to the extent necessary, under contract.

05Security

Credentials are never stored in a recoverable form. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Authority is re-evaluated on every request rather than cached for a session, so a withdrawn privilege takes effect immediately.

We publish what these controls guarantee, not how they are implemented. The security page states this in detail.

06Retention

We keep your record while your account is open. When you close it, we delete what we are not legally obliged to retain, and we will tell you exactly what remains and why.

07Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, correction of anything inaccurate, or deletion subject to our legal retention obligations. Export of your mandate record is available to you directly, at any time, without asking us.

08Cookies

We set the cookies required to keep you signed in and to protect the sign-in process. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run third-party trackers on this site.

09Transfers

Our operating posture is multi-region, so data may be processed outside the country where you are established. Where that happens we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms and can set out which ones apply to you in writing.

10Contacting us

Privacy questions and requests reach a person through the contact page, or directly at privacy@ventureship.com. We answer them ourselves rather than routing them to a vendor.

If you believe we hold something we should not, tell us and we will look at it the same week — not at the end of a review cycle.
